WHAT IS THIS?<\/h3>\n VR Tours’ 1.5-hour-long walking tour takes you back in time, to experience the defining events in Budapest’s and Buda Castle’s history and to live through all what we could only read about in history books before.<\/p>\n

The tour takes you through 7 historical periods from the 13th century onwards to the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. At each station, utilizing state-of-the-art technology, you can relive historical moments with virtual reality. Between the scenes, the audioguide (available in 8 languages) explains what lead up to the events in the scenes, and how they shaped the history if Budapest and Hungary.<\/p>\n

With incredible visual content, it’s an experience you never had dreamed of before.<\/p>\n

WHERE DO WE START?<\/h3>\n The starting and ending point of our tours is our office, located at L\u00e1nch\u00edd utca 23, Budapest 1013. <\/article>\n

CAN YOUNG CHILDREN ATTEND THE TOUR?<\/h3>\n Due to the technology and content of the programme, the minimum recommended age is 12. <\/article>\n
\n

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?<\/h3>\n The duration of the tour is about 90 minutes, give or take depending on the size and composition of the group. <\/article>\n \n

HOW LONG CAN I USE A TICKET THAT I'VE PURCHASED ONLINE?<\/h3>\n Tickets purchased on our site are valid for 1 year. <\/article>\n

ARE THERE TOURS EVEN IN BAD WEATHER CONDITIONS?<\/h3>\n Our tours operate in case of light rain and we can provide umbrellas to our guests. However, guests can rebook if they wish not to attend due to inconvenient weather conditions.<\/p>\n

In case of extreme weather conditions, i. e. severe rainfall, hail or strong winds, we are required to cancel to protect our guests and devices. <\/article>\n

IS ADVANCE BOOKING ALWAYS REQUIRED?<\/h3>\n Yes. Our tours depart with maximum capacity, so advance booking is always required to attend. Otherwise we cannot guarantee that we’ll have a spot for you. CAN PEOPLE WITH GLASSES ATTEND THE PROGRAMME?<\/h3>\n Naturally, we can setup the devices to comfortably accommodate those who wear glasses. <\/article>\n

HOW SOON DO I HAVE TO BOOK A TOUR?<\/h3>\n It is recommended to book a tour 1 or 1.5 weeks ahead. It is possible but rare that we’re able to book you to an earlier tour. <\/article>\n
\n

IN WHAT LANGUAGES IS THE PROGRAMME AVAILABLE?<\/h3>\n Our programme is available in 8 languages. One tour group can include any number of these languages as we set the audioguide individually for each guest. Languages to choose from are Hungarian, English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Russian and Chinese. <\/article>\n

TICKETS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED DUE TO THE COMPULSORY CLOSURE OF THE COVID-19<\/h3>\n We have extended the validity of all tickets purchased during or before the mandatory closure period due to the coronavirus epidemic. GROUP SIZES AND SOCIAL DISTANCING<\/h3>\n Our tours accommodate maximum 15 guests, therefore the group size totals in maximum 16 people including the tour guide. Single large groups (i.e. team buildings, school groups and large friend groups) are exempt from this rule. This way we’re able to keep at least 1.5 meters distance during the entirety of the tour, protecting the health of our team and guests. <\/article>\n
\n

SANITIZATION<\/h3>\n VR devices are sanitized after each use before they are placed in their storage container. Storage containers are also sanitized every time.<\/p>\n

We’re frequently sanitizing all office equipment!<\/p>\n
